"But...it could have been worse..." This historical fiction, which plays with spatial adaptation and time manipulation, recounts ten days in December 1910 at the Alderson-Stephenson building (Union) when their luck was going against them. The events and newspaper headlines are true.
The play is 10 minutes and was chosen from a contest where the first line is provided as a prompt. The location (The Brickscape Art Installation in the historic Union Building in downtown Charleston) and the writer's inspiration fill in the rest! These plays are written specifically for this event and have not been performed anywhere else.
